Common Questions
Before you come
How long can I stay?
It depends on the opportunity. Some people come for a short outreach, while others stay for several months, an internship, or long-term service. We’ll help you find what fits your season of life.
Do I need ministry experience?
Not necessarily. Short-term teams receive orientation, training, and mentoring. Some longer opportunities may require a DTS or equivalent ministry training.
Can families serve?
Yes. Every family’s situation is unique, and we’d love to talk about schooling, housing, ministry opportunities, and becoming part of the community.
Is there a place for older adults?
Yes. Life experience, hospitality, encouragement, and a willingness to invest in people can be especially valuable here. Faithful presence often matters more than a busy schedule.
Where will I live?
Most participants live at The Point alongside visiting teams and other volunteers, creating a supportive community as you serve together.
Is this only for Christians?
Most opportunities are designed for followers of Jesus who want to grow while serving cross-culturally.
